MacLeod's Campground

The MacLeod family would like to welcome you to our tourist facilities located along the Ceilidh Trail on the western shores of Cape Breton Island. The MacLeod family has been catering to tourists since 1969 with the establishment of MacLeod's Beach and Campsite, one of eastern Canada's longest running camping facilities. Located in Dunvegan, named after the ancestral home of the clan MacLeod, this 150 site resort overlooks a large sandy beach nestled between rolling hills and looking out upon Margaree Island, a protected bird sanctuary.

Just a short distance away, you will find another spectacular beach-front resort, Inverness Beach Village, located 1/4 of a mile north of the village of Inverness. Inverness Beach Village is situated along a 2-mile pristine beach and includes 41 self-contained housekeeping cottages and a 41 site RV and tenting facility. Enjoy breath-taking sunsets each evening and perhaps a campfire to end your day.

Make MacLeods your premiere destination for a Cape Breton vacation. Your welcome is always Highland and the smiles are genuine, the perfect locations when exploring the Ceilidh Trail and Cabot Trail.
